Gourmet Coffee Gifts: One Size Does Not Fit All

Gourmet coffee makes an exceptional present for any occasion. Everyone likes a good gourmet coffee, and even if they do not like coffee personally, they will find that serving coffee to unsuspecting guests will lead to a roar of cheers and appreciation. Nothing saves versatility and class like giving that special someone a gourmet coffee gift. Of course, those gifts come in many sizes and shapes. Many people do not realize that gourmet coffee does not end with that metallic container of retail coffee grounds at your local grocery shop. No, gourmet coffee is loaded with positively marvelous options for you and your potential gift recipient.

Gourmet coffee gifts are as versatile and varied as the potential gift owner and receiver. Not the type of person whom enjoy a good cup of java? No need to fret, there are many options still open to you. I would like to present you with a few of those extra options to get that creative process running.

1. Not a java junkie? Try giving a coffee cup! Coffee cups are an extremely versatile and stylish gift. Coffee cups come in all shape, sizes, and can fit any budget. There are so many different types of coffee cups that if you are not pleased with one style, find another one. I love finding my coffee cups at thrift shops. Inexpensive, stylish, and they have added character -- that small chip off the handle does give added character, so I tell my husband. In addition, coffee cups are not limited to the consumption of coffee products. A good coffee cup can act as a tea cup, a chocolate milk cup, a water cup, and in an emergency, acts as a marvelous soup bowl.

2. Not a java junkie? Try giving some chocolate covered coffee beans! I know many people who will not touch a cup of coffee but devour my chocolate covered coffee beans. These make an exceptional gourmet coffee gift. Somewhere along the way, the coffee bean is dipped in various types of chocolate, then sold to you. Any type of chocolate is capable of being used: white chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and then there are the flavored chocolates. There are endless options. In addition, good chocolate covered coffee beans will last and last. If your gift recipient does not eat them all at once --like my friends-- the coffee beans will last almost indefinitely at the proper temperature.

3. Not a java junkie? Try giving a gift certificate! Almost all gourmet coffee franchises offer gift certificates. I have yet to see a single coffee shop that offers only coffee. Who can go wrong with a gift certificate? My favorite local gourmet coffee shop also has teas, various forms of steamed milk, specialized sodas, and other such novelties. In addition, they have T-shirts, coffee mugs and cups, books, magazines, and small gifts such as stuffed animals. Of course, every coffee shop has gifts specialized to their shop. Giving a gift certificate is a great gift for everyone.

This list is by far not complete. However, this will hopefully have given you a few exceptional ideas on what would best fit your style and budget. Whatever you choose, have fun and remember, gourmet coffee gifts are an exceptional diverse way to tell that special someone just how you feel.
