If you are looking for a gift idea, a coffee gift or a coffee gift basket are fun to receive and priced for any budget.
For a corporate or personal gift, a coffee gift basket is perfect because they can be customized for any personality. Make it a sports coffee gift basket for the sports fan or how about a few books with some gourmet coffee for a reader.
Some people like to make their own coffee gift baskets and customize each one for different personalities and interests. But if you don't have the time, the Internet has an endless supply of coffee gift baskets to choose from.
Want another good coffee gift? How about a membership to a gourmet coffee club? Every month you'll be remembered and it's a great way to experience different gourmet coffees. Who wouldn't love that?
Coffee roasters also make a unique coffee gift idea and who ever gets this gift is in for a real treat.
Coffee makers also make great coffee gifts for any occasion. They are reasonably priced and can usually be shipped directly to the gift recipient.
A travel coffee mug is another great coffee gift. Wouldn't you rather drink out of your own mug than from a paper cup? If you go to Starbucks or any other gourmet coffee shop in the morning, just pour your hot coffee into your own travel coffee mug and you'll enjoy it a lot more.
Whether you are holiday gift shopping, shopping for a birthday or any other gift giving occassion, a coffee gift is a real treat.

In the 1990's Starbucks Coffee first made its march across America and then across the world. As of August 2006, Starbucks had 12,142 locations and in 2005 had grossed $6.4 billion in revenue.
That is up 21 percent from just one year earlier, and with those kinds of numbers, who can possibly catch up with them. But believe it or not, Dunkin' Donuts is not only becoming a huge competitor, but is quickly rewriting coffee history.
It all started in 1995; a year after Starbucks opened its first store in Boston. Dunkin' Donuts then began its plan to grab a share of the coffee market and introduced a line of flavored coffees. Their coffee was an instant hit and customers lined up for a taste of their coffee regularly.
Dunkin' Donuts now sells 2.7 million cups of coffee every day. That is almost one billion cups a year. These beverages now account for 63 percent of Dunkin's domestic sales. Dunkin' currently offers a wide range of flavored blends, espresso products, chai tea, and hot chocolate.
Dunkin' Donuts has a new coffee campaign and an expansion plan that goes head to head with Starbucks in most major cities. Last September, the Dunkin' Donuts chain announced an expansion plan to bring the brand of its coffee, to the national level.
Dunkin' Brands who is the parent company of Dunkin' Donuts, Togo's and Baskin-Robbins plans to more than triple its stores from 4,800 now to about 15,000 nationwide by 2015. This is a big switch for chain once known for its donuts and baked goods.
The two companies market their coffees a little differently? Dunkin' Donuts markets with the idea that coffee is fuel, while Starbucks is selling you on drinking coffee as a lifestyle.
Coffee demand in the United States is the highest it's ever been with the average American now drinking nearly 24 gallons of coffee a year. So now is the perfect time for Dunkin' Donuts to grow their chain of stores with their successful coffee campaign.
It doesn't seem to matter that they arrived late on the coffee scene, because Dunkin' Donuts reinvented itself and for now it seems to be working. But will they become Starbucks new competition?
One thing is for sure, as fast as Dunkin' Donuts is opening new stores, Starbucks has a new rival. As for coffee drinkers, it will give us more options, and from that we get to ultimately decide who wins the battle.
