Getting Coffee Stains
Out Of Carpet

We've all done it. When you spill coffee on carpet you think it's never going to come out. But the next time it happens use this trick to get the stain out.

Blot the coffee spill with a clean, white cloth to absorb all of the liquid you can soak up.

Then, mix a teaspoon of clear, mild liquid dishwashing detergent with one cup of warm water.

Sponge the area with the detergent solution then blot with another clean, white cloth again.

Mix 1/3 cup white vinegar with 2/3 cup warm water. Sponge the spill area with the vinegar solution then blot again with a clean, white cloth.

Now sponge the area again with clean, warm water to rinse. Blot one more time with a clean, white cloth.

The next time you have an accident try this trick so you can get back to enjoying your coffee.

Coffee Buying Basics

Coffee is one of the most popular beverages in the world. With so many different blends and varieties available on the Internet, knowing a few basics will allow you to discover wonderful flavors that you never thought were possible in a cup of coffee.

The region where the coffee is grown determines the difference in taste, body, acidity and other characteristics the coffee will have. The major coffee regions of the world are: South America, Central America, Indonesia, and Africa.

South America
South American coffee tends to have a heavy body, high acidity with bold aromas and taste. Brazil, Columbia and Bolivia are the South American countries where most of their coffee is grown.

Central America
Central American coffees are generally light-bodied, relatively high acidity, with a more of a crisp bold taste. These wonderful coffees actually feel lighter in your mouth because of their light body. Costa Rica, Mexico and Jamaica are where most of the Central American coffees come from.

Indonesia
Indonesian coffee is full flavored, has a very heavy body, low acidity and smooth finish. Not much gourmet coffee produced in Indonesia but Sumatra and Yemen grow much of what is produced.

Africa
African coffees produce unique and exotic coffee flavors. These full bodied coffees tend to taste sweet and fruity with unique aromas and overtones. Kenya, Ethiopia and Zambia produce most of what is sold.

You may want to try a small sample of African coffees before buying any large amount. African coffees are very different from traditional coffee but exploring is how you find coffee that suits your tastes.

The only way to discover a new coffee is to try some from different growing regions. Hopefully this guide will help you find that one perfect coffee that becomes your favorite.
